Thatch is a lazy, shit-talking, bored tar demon who's just so happened to take on a scarecrow body as his own. He's pretty benign considering the whole 'demon' thing. Straw and some metal framework makes up his body, though it's all reinforced and glued together with his ACTUAL body; tar. It's more of a dark coloured glue than anything else, and has really lost most of it's heat and stick. Part of a side effect from being topside. 

Keeps his clothes in relatively neat fashion, opting for that full county aesthetic since hey you gotta blend in with the locals right? Speaking of locals, they were quite apprehensive and some terrified of him for a while, but they've since come to tolerate this anomaly in their sleepy town. He seems to keep those punk kids away at least. They've found out that so long as you don't bother him, he's not going to talk shit to you. If you're nice to him he may even goo-ify your scarecrows to do some work around the farm. I wouldn't count on it tho. He's a lazy shit who just wants to drink beer (?? where does it even go??) and tend to the farm (he's getting better at it)
