[OC] Sinew

An incredibly unstable creature made of nothing more than ribbons of flesh, Sinew is capable of further splitting its mouth all the way down to its shoulders. Teeth extend along the inside of these flesh ribbons, and the same applies to the tail.

It consumes prey not by engulfing it, but by surrounding as much of it as possible and twisting the strips of itself around the prey, shredding it in seconds thanks to the powerful muscle and sharp, numerous teeth. It is a grizzly sight, and can be done using the tail which uses the same mechanism. In fact, all important viscera are in the chest of the beast, including a stomach which cannot consume large lumps of gore - hence why it prefers to shred its victims as much as possible.

Sinew is a creature worth avoiding - it has an endless hunger, and will consume anything living it comes across, leaving grizzly scenes behind it.
